Commercial Pilots Licence
A commercial licence allows you to work as a pilot for hire or reward within New Zealand
To obtain a CPL you must:

Be at least 18 years of age

Hold a current Class 1 Medical Certificate

Pass six CPL theory exams:

Principles of Flight
-
Aviation Law
-
Air Navigation and Flight Planning
-
Meteorology
-
Aircraft Technical Knowledge

Human Factors
-
-
Complete at least 200 hours of flying time, including at least:

100 hours solo flight time

10 hours instrument time
-
10 hours cross-country navigation flying
-

Complete a CPL flight test with a flight testing officer.
